About Juana
Juana Zegarra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma practitioner with 20+ years of experience, now working with teens and adults. Much of her career has centered on children and families experiencing trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and school difficulties, and she is certified in EMDR. Her approach is client-centered and collaborative, focused on making sure people feel heard and supported, without judgment.
Juana has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and has experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community. She completed a certificate program at the Transgender Institute in Philadelphia to deepen her inclusive and affirming care for transgender individuals and their families, and is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
